Poisonthehat Cool Emo Hair

Poisonthehat, aka Electrocuute who is really a hot emo guy!

Poisonthehat, aka Electrocuute emo hair
Probably, most of you emo guys would like to have this look. Here is the instruction and the tools you need to achieve this emo hairstyle according to Poisonthehat himself.

In his own words:

"Well, there are a couple of different "emo hair styles" I guess you could say. If you're looking for something like the picture above, then I can pretty much tell you everything I do to my hair, because that's me. I can still help you with whatever you're looking for though, since I've been through a couple of different "emo hair styles". I didn't part my hair in the picture above, but I usually do."

The basics of emo hair:
-A flat iron straightener (a MUST have)
-Black hair dye
-Some sort of hair product, not sure what they're called but I use Neutrogena Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum
-Cut short in the back to prevent mullet-ness
-Conditioning your hair every night
-Combing your hair after you get out of the shower and whatnot helps

On the color of his hair:

"Yeah it's a blue black color but I don't remember what dye I used. I think it was some of that crap you mix up with the other crap and then you use the cap thingy and all that. If you cut the back short and then straighten your hair with a flat iron I'm pretty sure you could get a haircut close to mine. Oh, and make sure to let the sides grow out."

On Neutrogena Triple Moisture Healing Serum:

"Neutrogena Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum fixes up ugly "straggling" hair like woah. It's like this oil type stuff, and you put a small dot of it you hand, rub your palms together, and then run your palm through your hair or something like that. I know there are other brands of it out there, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. I always use it after straightening my hair because my hair gets all dry looking after I straighten it, and then this stuff fixes it right up.

I recommend you just ask one of your female friends to straighten your hair, or if your mom has a straightener or whatever, just use hers. I'm pretty sure it would end up looking something close to my hair. As for the part, I'm not really sure how I get that. I just use my hand and push my hair to the side and it works. I'm sure you can figure it out.

The moisture shine stuff keeps it from poofing and fix flyaways and makes it look straighter and thinner. Also, I use the straightener every day."

Final words:

"Just grow it out, use flat iron straightener, cut it short in the back, and you can spike the back if you wish. I usually don't but sometime I get bored and will do it. You don't have to dye it black if you don't want, especially if your hair is already naturally black. Yes it could take a couple of months for your hair to grow as long as mine. It's a long process but if that's what you want then it'll be worth it."

YES, the major difference between emos and scenesters are their attitude. But I don't believe all 'scene kids' have an original personality, as you say 'dont follow the personality'. Yea, they dont follow the emo personality. But they still have one they mostly all have.. they think highly of themselves.

Another difference is, emos are generally natured to black. Scene kids love colors. Rainbows, neon colors..anything and everything!(Although I see emos starting to like rainbows now..xD)

Another thing is the 'obsessions'. Emos love, mostly Jack Skellington, and such things as that. While Scene kids are more into the look of say, Sanrio characters, like Hello Kitty. And also, Gloomy Bear is a big thing for them.

While emos and scenes are close to each other, I think the difference is more than what it seems. It isnt just the personality, but the style too. The common thing shared among them is probably the hair. But scene hair is most definately BIGGER.xD

You should be able to tell the difference, on the spot, from an emo or a scene kid. Guys are harder to distinguish than girls most of the time. But see a guy with a lot of confidence and he seems like hed have a big mouth on him, wearing bright colors, and big sun glasses..I think its safe to assume hes 'scene'. While a guy wearing mostly black, quiet in the corner, walking slowly..well, thats emo. But even if an emo doesnt follow the personality, you can still tell them apart by the overall style.

Tips for Emo Color-emo hairstyles

emo hairstyle colors
emo color hairstyle For the best emo hair color…
Try using temporary hair color first to experiment with different looks until you find the one you like best.
Know that very unnatural colors (pink, teal, or green, for example) may be prohibited by school or work dress codes. Find a way to restyle your hair to hide the color if necessary.
Use a good conditioner and proper hair products to keep hair healthy. Using hair dye and other coloring techniques can cause dry, damaged hair that will be more difficult to style and may not hold color as well

GETTING EMO LOOK

Getting That Emo Look

What does it mean to be emo? To be emo, you have to know its history and effect in its followers. The emo punk movement began in the early ‘80’s, which began a new wave of devout followers of rock music.

However, by the early ‘90’s, the emo movement began to cool down and became unpopular. This would not be the case for long. By the late ‘90’s, the movement was born again – with a new generation of devout followers. The movement has been going strong ever since then.

To put it plainly, being emo is about expressing your innermost feelings and being a part from “normal” people. Being emo is about being unique and emotional. You can cry without worrying about being ridiculed by others, wear hair and clothes of different colors that express your feelings, and just being yourself.

So how does one adopt the emo look and style? The answer is easy and so is the transformation to being an emo. If you’re ready to step into the world of becoming emo, you will need the following:

1. A dark or light eye shadow
2. Dark or light eye liner (liquid or crystal)
3. Mascara (color is your choice)
4. Chapstick or light lipstick tones
5. Loose powder (one that is a shade or two lighter than the tone of your skin)
6. Moisturizer

Follow the below steps for adopting the emo style:

1. Apply the moisturizer to your neck and face. Make sure the moisturizer is firmly applied to these areas, or the makeup won’t last very long. To give an added look to your emo face, use moisturizers that are made with sun block. This makes the face look more pale.

2. Since being emo rests on you looking pale, you should make sure your face look as pale as possible. To achieve this, you would take the color foundation and apply it to your skin.

3. After that, you would take the powder and apply it to your skin. If you’re a girl and wear tops that show the upper chest area, put the powder on that area as well.

4. Place a bit of the eye shadow around the eyes. If you’re a guy, skip this step or use black or gray eye shadows. If you’re a girl, use pink, red, purple, green, black, and grey eye shadows.

5. Take away any excess eye shadow on top of the eyelids by brushing it off with a Q- tip. For beginners, use a soft, black eyeliner and apply it on the upper and inner part of the eyes. Try to stay close to the eyelash line when going this. For experienced people, use should use liquid eyeliners.

6. Apply the loose powder to keep the makeup in place.

7. Use and put two coats of black mascara around the eyes. Make sure not to put them too close together, or this will mess up the makeup.

8. If you’re a guy, use lip balm to place around your mouth. For girls, use pale or light-colored-lipstick, to finish off your emo look.

Emo Hair

Emo Hair

Emo hair bears a strong resemblance to the traditional hair and hairstyles of the 1980s punk rock music culture and fashion. Despite the latest developments and trends in the emo hair fashion, the overall styles and fashion continue to have a strong relationship with the basic traditions of punk and other musical bands. Over a period and mainly due to the strong presence of emo culture and society on the numerous log sites, emo hair and fashion has established its own typical styles and fashion.

Due to the growing popularity on the Internet and other media, emo hair and fashion is becoming a casual scene on the streets. Many of the teenage boys and girls have started copying emo hairstyles. Although several boys and girls try to copy the emo hair fashion but many of them rarely realize that there are certain essential rules that must be followed while emulating emo hairstyles and thus they often fail to get the desired effects of emo hair fashion.

Emo boys haircut styles traditionally represent personal and distinctive styles of the wearer. Most of the emo boys haircut styles are inspired by the musicians of the famous band groups.
